๐Ÿš— What should I do if my rental car is damaged and Iโ€™m using personal insurance?
If your rental car is damaged and youโ€™re covered by your personal insurance, follow these steps:

๐Ÿ“Œ Report the Damage:

  1. Call your personal car insurance company or broker to report the accident immediately.

    • Their contact info can be found on your pink slip or insurance agreement.

  2. Answer the questions asked by your insurer and obtain a claim number.

๐Ÿ“Œ Notify Globe:

  • Email the claim number and your rental contract number to [email protected] as soon as possible.

๐Ÿ“Œ Pay the Deductible:

  • You are responsible for paying the deductible in full directly to Globe.

๐Ÿ“Œ If You Choose Not to Open a Claim:

  • You must pay the entire cost of the claim directly to Globe immediately.

๐Ÿ“Œ Next Steps:

  • Globe will advise you once the claim is closed.

๐Ÿ“Œ Important Reminder:

  • Failing to initiate the claims process within 48 hours violates your rental agreement.

  • Until the claim is settled and payment is received from your insurer, you remain responsible for the loss.

Act quickly to ensure a smooth resolution and compliance with the rental agreement.
